Castle Hall, Brotherhood Lodge #3-5-7
December 15, 2009 A.D., Pythian Period 145 Stated Meeting Lodge was duly opened in the stated convention with the following Officers present: C.C. (X) Robert Frazer Prelate () James Cross V.C. (X) Richard Messerl Trustees: () Duane Stucker (10) ( ) Robert E. Price (11) (X) Robert J. Frazer (09) The roll call of officers was called and absentees noted. The minutes of the last convention were read and approved. The following Brothers and their families were reported sick or in distress: Brother Shorty Messer's sister is back in the hospital suffering from cancer. Sister Sherry Goldsberry is ill this evening in Florida. Brother Bob Price has not been getting out much lately. Brother Denny Adams family has been ill with a 24 hour virus. The Relief Committee had no report. The following Application was received.: Brother Blake Shackelford, 1811 S Memorial Dr, New Castle, In 47362 by additional membership. It was endorsed by Dennis Adams. The vote was taken and Brother Blake Shackelford was elected to membership in the lodge unanimously. The Investigating Committee had no report. Communications: None The following bills were presented, allowed and orders drawn for the same: 543 - Crescens Lodge - 1/2 of the meat for the December meeting $20.00 Old business: The change in the lodge by-laws was brought off the table and read before the membership. Article IV, Section 4: The Officers of Brotherhood Lodge #3-5-7 shall be elected for a six month term beginning with the election of the 2010 officers. The by-law change passed unanimously and becomes effective immediately, pending approval of the Grand Lodge. New business: The annual election of officers was held with the following results: CC - Blake Shackelford VC - Richard Messer Prelate - Thomas Alexander Recording/Financial Secretary - Dennis Adams Treasurer - Robert E. Price Master of the Work - Robert Frazer Master at Arms - Ralph Willis Inner Guard - Jerry Weilenman Outer Guard - Richard Neal Trustee (2012) - Robert Frazer Lodge Deputy - James Cross Good of the Order: Brothers were reminded that the installation of officers will take place in Muncie on Saturday, January 9th in conjunction with the District #4 convention. It starts at 3pm. There were 8 Brotherhood Knights and 1 Crescens Knight in attendance for a total of 9 present. 3-5-7 MEETING! - The next meeting of
Brotherhood lodge #3-5-7 will be in the Crescens Castle in New Castle
(downstairs) on December 15th with a pitch-in supper at 6pm. The
meeting will happen at 6:30 pm and will end by 7:00 pm. It will be
the election of Officers for 2010 and we will be voting on a by-law
change. VOLUNTEER HOURS NEEDED!!
