2010 HAPPENINGS AT YOUR BROTHERHOOD LODGE #3-5-7, KNIGHTS OF PYTHIAS!!

BROTHERHOOD LODGE #3-5-7''S EXCITING MEETING!   We encourage you to ATTEND YOUR NEXT MEETING OF BROTHERHOOD LODGE #3-5-7 on Tuesday, March 30th. wE WILL BE JUDGING THE POSTERS FOR THE ANNUAL POSTER CONTEST!!  We need your support and input!  If you have not paid your dues...do so today!  They are PAST DUE!  $20.  Remember...we always eat at 6pm and meet at 7 and have you on the road home by 8 pm!

Lodge was duly opened in the stated convention with the following Officers present:

The roll call of officers was called and absentees noted.

The minutes of the last convention were read and approved.

The following Brothers and their families were reported sick or in distress:

Brother Robert E. Price is in the hospital in serious condition with several problems.

Brother Blake Shackelford's Mother is in having gall baldder surgery Friday.

Brother Shorty Messer's Brother-in-law is in the Waters and is not doing well.

Brother Shorty Messer got a good report on his prostrate cancer.

 The Relief Committee had no report.

 The were no Application received.:

 The Investigating Committee had no report.

 Communications:  None

 The following bills were presented, allowed and orders drawn for the same:

547 - Dennis Adams - food for January                                                $  21.25

548 - Crescens Lodge - food for February                                               14.00

                                                            Total                                        $  35.25

 Old business:

 New business: A motion by Denny Adams and 2nd by Robert Frazer to elect Deron Price as Assistant Treasurer.  Motion carried unanimously.

 Good of the Order: Brother Andy Goldsberry asked if there was a possibility of shrinking the size of the lodge room layout.  It was taken into consideration.

 There were 8 Brotherhood Knights and 3 Crescens Knights in attendance for a total of 11 present.

 There being no further business the lodge closed in the Rank of Knight in due form.

NEXT BROTHERHOOD 3-5-7 MEETING! - The next meeting of Brotherhood lodge #3-5-7 will be in the Crescens Castle in New Castle (upstairs) on March 30th with a pitch-in supper at 6pm.  The meeting will happen at 7:00pm and will end by 8:00 pm.  It will be the judging of the posters we have received from New Castle High School for the annual Poster Contest.  We hope you will be a part of this exciting evening!

VOLUNTEER HOURS NEEDED!! - If you are a VOLUNTEER ANYWHERE, we need your help!  SC Dan Cowan went into office in mid August of 2008.  From that time until August of 2010 we are collecting VOLUNTEER HOURS of ALL Pythians in ALL that they volunteer for!  The goal of Supreme Chancellor Dan Cowan is to show that Pythians volunteer 2 million hours in 2 years!  To report you volunteer hours you can do the following:
Give your hours to you subordinate lodge Secretary, Denny Adams, who will forward them on.
Give your hours to the Grand Secretary, Ralph Willis, who will forward them on.
Give your hours to our Deputy Supreme Chancellor, David Sell, who will forward them on.
